Taima Crean

Taima Crean is from both San Francisco and Washington, DC but is currently studying biomedical engineering and business at the University of Texas at Austin, Hook ‘Em! She is going into her third year on the UT sailing team where she has acted as PR chair for the last year and has had the pleasure of racing at SEISA champs this past fall. When she is not at college regattas, she enjoys racing J80’s or trimarans at her local club. Over the next year, she is taking a break from school to focus on her main passion, sailing! She hopes to do more offshore racing and learn how to incorporate her love of technology, philanthropy, and sailing into a career. When she is not on the water you can find her traveling in pursuit of any new experiences she can get her hands on. She is currently on her third passport and is looking forward to checking off sailing in every major body of water from her bucket list. Taima also enjoys musical theater.
