Peter Gunn

Peter is a sixteen year old senior in high school from Riverdale, NY. He began sailing seven years ago in Optis and Picos and quickly moved into 420s. Peter has done many fleet racing regattas along the east coast including several Larchmont Race Weeks, two 420 Midatlantics Championship regattas. He was inspired to join the Oakcliff team as an Acorn when he friend and fellow competitors Kathryn Shiber, Rachel and Vincent Yannelli recommended the program. Peter’s goals from the program are to enhance his sailing ability, to learn new racing tactics/applying it and to open new paths in the sailing world to hopefully sail in different places all around the world competitively. Peter is focusing on the Offshore Program at Oakcliff.
