Justin Zmina

Justin Zmina is a 16 year old sailor born and raised in Southern California. He started sailing on a J/80 and a Farr 40 when he was ten but didn’t start racing till his freshman year of high school. Justin is currently a junior and is the captain of his high school dinghy team, which sails CFJ’s. Justin coaches at his home yacht club in the summer. With the desire to try something new he enrolled in the Oakcliff offshore sailing program and, with a sponsorship from Pelican Products, he was able to go. Justin likes going paint-balling with his friends but after seeing the welts from paintball and the bruises from sailing, his parents sometimes question his choice of hobbies!
