James Harayda

Hometown: Singapore

I was born and grew up in Singapore where I competed in dinghy racing. When I graduated high school I took a year out to pursue a traineeship in yacht racing around England, the Mediterranean, and the Caribbean. I was then fortunate enough to get a job as boat captain of Siren in Newport, USA.  After having completed that year, I began studying business management and entrepreneurship at the University of Surrey, where I currently compete in inshore and offshore racing primarily around Europe.
