Brian Gallagher

Brian started sailing at the age of three but never enjoyed it. It was only when he competed in the 2017 Around Long Island Race that he caught the offshore bug. His sole focus is on offshore racing and his ultimate goal of competing The Ocean Race. When Brian is not sailing, he wishes he was. It is the only thing he wants to do. Recently he has been racing Oakcliff’s Farr 40’s both inshore and offshore. He is currently 17 and plans to go to college near Newport, RI to advance his sailing career.
